While exploring Northfield, MN this weekend we discovered The Contented Cow. This cool little British accent pub is tucked in an “ally type” walkway leading from the historic main street shops to a river crossing below. We couldn’t help but stop in and sample a beverage or two along with a little “pub grub”. We’ll be sure to stop by again come warmer weather, as perhaps this establishments greatest attribute is the outdoor patio overlooking the Canon River
